Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Global Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The position is remote with hybrid work options available.

 

The Global Planner has primary accountability for supporting the development and execution of global supply and production plans, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and balancing supply and demand across regions. Working closely with the Global Master Planner, this role contributes to the alignment of global production, inventory, and demand plans to drive the company’s success.

 

The salary range for this position is $49,000 - $66,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will

  • Assist in the development of global supply plans, aligning with regional demand forecasts and production capacities.
  • Monitor and balance global inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Prepare supply-related data and consolidate regional inputs for the monthly S&OP cycle.
  • Align production schedules with global requirements, collaborating with regional operations teams.
  • Conduct "what-if" analyses to assess the impact of changes in demand or supply chain disruptions.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance supply planning and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with procurement, logistics, sales, and finance teams to support global supply chain decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy in planning systems and assist with new tools or process integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. APICS or CPIM certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management in a global or multi-regional environment.
  • Proficiency in advanced planning systems, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of MRP concepts, S&OP processes, and production scheduling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders across regions.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
