Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Global Demand Manager to join our Supply Chain team. The Global Demand Manager will collaborate across teams to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This position has remote and hybrid work options with the ability to be at our office in Deforest, WI as needed.

 

The Global Demand Manager has primary accountability for orchestrating accurate and timely demand plans, collaborating with Supply Chain, PLM, and Commercial teams. This role synthesizes business intelligence from multiple sources, such as marketing, sales, and finance, to drive data-driven decisions and align forecasts with business objectives.

 

The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $122,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will

  • Develop, implement, and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Drive monthly demand consensus meetings, aligning partners on SKU and category volumes for short- and long-term planning.
  • Utilize Excel models, Power BI dashboards, and analytics tools to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Integrate data from sales, marketing, and operations to create comprehensive demand plans.
  • Analyze historical sales, trends, and market data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor demand, inventory, and performance.
  • Work closely with Sales, PLM, and S&OP teams to align forecasts with promotional activities, product launches, and seasonal trends.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications: (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply planning; CPG experience preferred.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional consensus.
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple organizational layers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive mindset in addressing demand variability and supply chain disruptions.
  • Ability to travel estimated at up to 30% of the time

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the CPG industry, particularly in demand forecasting and supply planning.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and advanced data analytics tools.
