ABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Senior Buyer to drive and execute sourcing strategies, develop and maintain supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement of high-quality products and services. The position is located in our DeForest, WI office with hybrid work options.

The Senior Buyer has primary accountability for the development and execution of ABS’s sourcing strategy, vendor negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Supply Chain, and Legal, to optimize cost, quality, and lead time while mitigating procurement risks.

Lead the ongoing development and execution of ABS’s sourcing strategy and goals, communicating action plans to stakeholders.
Collaborate with key teams to implement sourcing strategies ensuring quality products and services at optimal cost and risk levels.
Build and strengthen supplier relationships, source new vendors, and drive cost reductions and continuous improvements.
Manage procurement risks, including supply disruptions, and develop mitigation strategies.
Oversee vendor evaluations, audits, and business reviews to ensure alignment with company standards.
Support the digitalization of procurement processes, focusing on ERP system optimization and data accuracy improvements.
Provide periodic reporting on key performance indicators to track and improve sourcing performance.

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in purchasing and sourcing, with a proven track record in supplier contract negotiations.
Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
APICS/CPIM certification desired.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
