Logistics and Order Fulfilment Manager

We are looking for a Logistics and Fulfilment Manager to join our team working from anywhere in the UK

You will manage a team of skilled distribution team members, working remotely across GB who are responsible for the delivery of semen and the supply of liquid nitrogen to our customers.

You will fulfil the last mile of our service and you'll be a crucial part of our supply chain.

Delivering semen and liquid nitrogen on time and in full is vital to the service we provide and the accompanying monitoring and supporting of the team through KPI’s is essential to the role.

Strict health & safety and workload monitoring is also a prerequisite to manage workload effectively and support a remote working team.

Mentoring and engagement of the distribution team is a large component of the role due to the geographical spread of the team. Commercial astuteness is a requirement in managing the cost centre for the team and reporting performance to the business striving for operation and economic efficiency

• Leading a team of distribution colleagues delivering including planner to deliver semen and liquid nitrogen to Customers throughout GB
• Collaborating with field and service teams to support business objectives e.g. Geographical service, Goods for Resale, and liquid nitrogen infrastructure
• Effective management of the Distribution team guided by policies, procedures and business plan and ensuring Health & Safety requirements are always met
• Ownership of financial cost center and managing costs within the team to ensure optimal service delivery as well as efficiency and reporting out performance.
• Analysis of data to present attainment of KPI’s and use of technology for reporting and service delivery/improvement
• Strategic planning to support business performance
• Implementing change management and standardization of process across the team

• Willing and able to travel to support the team and potential EMEA travel to support wider standardization and best practice
• Full driving license
• Demonstrable distribution and order optimization experience
• IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data
• Commercial awareness and numeracy skills
• Demonstrate ability to problem solved
