Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Global Director of Planning & Execution to lead our global planning, logistics, and customer service operations. The position is located in our DeForest, WI office, and hybrid work is an option. The Global Director of Planning & Execution has primary accountability for leading the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) functions to ensure efficiency, agility, and customer satisfaction across our global supply chain.

 

The successful candidate will leverage Lean and Toyota Production System (TPS) methodologies, AI-powered analytics, and continuous improvement strategies to enhance global alignment, precision execution, and operational scalability.

 

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $200,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will

  • Develop and execute Lean/TPS-based global planning, execution, and logistics strategies.
  • Lead the S&OP process to balance demand and supply, optimize inventory, and drive alignment across the enterprise.
  • Oversee S&OE strategy to ensure precision scheduling and execution across all global regions.
  • Optimize global distribution and transportation networks for cost efficiency and service reliability.
  • Lead international customer service teams, driving fulfillment excellence, compliance, and high-quality customer interactions.
  • Implement AI-powered analytics and automation to improve forecasting, agility, and end-to-end supply chain synchronization.
  • Increase transparency with real-time visibility into global supply chain performance.
  • Apply TPS principles such as kaizen, kanban, value stream mapping, and standardized work to drive improvements.
  • Define and track KPIs aligned with TPS to continuously improve performance.
  • Foster cross-functional alignment with Product Management, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams globally.
  • Provide strategic insights and reports to the Global Senior Director of Supply Chain to support ABS’s long-term goals.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics operations, planning, and execution, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience managing global logistics and international customer service operations.

  • Strong understanding and application of TPS and Lean principles.

  • Expertise in AI-powered analytics, forecasting, transportation optimization, and automation technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Demonstrated success in leading global planning and execution teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.

  • Experience in driving cross-functional alignment and process transformation on a global scale.
