We’re looking for an experienced L&D Designer to join Genus’ Learning & Development team on a permanent full-time contract. You’ll be responsible for designing and developing engaging, high-quality learning materials across multiple formats, including eLearning (Articulate / Rise), virtual workshops, and PDF guides. This role plays a critical part in supporting Genus’ global learning strategy, ensuring that content is visually appealing, user-friendly, and effective. You’ll work closely with stakeholders worldwide to meet business training needs while maintaining brand consistency and applying the latest instructional design principles.
Training Material Design and Development
· Create and update training content using tools like Articulate, Rise, and other eLearning platforms to produce interactive and accessible materials.
· Innovate with modern instructional design techniques, ensuring materials are engaging, effective, and visually appealing.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
· Partner with HR, subject matter experts, and regional training teams to gather feedback on training needs.
· Use this input to develop targeted, region-specific learning solutions while maintaining consistency with global standards.
IT and Technical Integration
· Ensure all training materials are fully compatible with the company’s IT systems (e.g., GenusOne).
· Collaborate with IT to integrate new content seamlessly and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during content delivery.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
· Conduct thorough testing of all training materials, gathering feedback from learners and stakeholders to refine content.
· Apply data-driven adjustments and instructional design best practices to continuously improve learning effectiveness and outcomes.
Regional and Global Coordination
· Serve as the key representative for Learning and Development design in your region, ensuring that local needs and cultural nuances are reflected in the training content.
· Collaborate closely with Learning and Development Designer counterparts globally to align on initiatives, share best practices, and ensure quality and consistency in training delivery across regions.
Other duties may also be assigned as the business and demands change.
