Role Overview

The Strategic Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for selling and driving the PIC Value proposition. It identifies new and existing commercial opportunities, driving business and market share growth and profitability in his area of responsibility.

You Will

  • Support SEA Regional Director in the development of the strategic customer initiatives to deliver/achieve profit targets and customer goals.
  • Build value-driven strategic relationships with key customers that aid in long-term retention, thereby maximizing revenue potential
  • Identify Customer Needs: Develop custom solutions addressing key accounts' specific objectives by possessing a deep understanding of their business and the ability to think creatively.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with products or services by following up regularly, addressing any concerns and assessing the success of your solutions.
  • Work with all customer interfaces within accounts to influence, develop and implement improved ways of realizing the full genetic performance potential in customer farms.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget for area of responsibility, monitor and adjust sales operations as appropriate to meet forecasts.
  • Negotiate, sustain and renew customer contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Communicate and sell the value proposition effectively to key industry contacts, including customer and prospects, to drive business growth.
  • Create, monitor and adjust lead generation plans to maintain a robust sales opportunity

    pipeline.

Requirements

  • University degree in Animal Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years Sales experience, including understanding business impact and creating and managing against an annual budget, successfully leading an account team
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to create contracts that mitigate risks and result in win win relationships with customers
  • Strong networking skills
  • Highly analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Innovative, highly self motivated with the ability to respond to changing demands
  • Understand own leadership style and varies it to gain hearts and minds; High level of emotional intelligence
