The based salary range for this position is $120,000–$140,000 USD per year with eligibility for a local performance-based bonus tied to territory results and business objectives.  The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will

  • Lead, coach, and develop a district team of approximately 5 employees and independent representatives across a geographically dispersed territory.
  • Create and execute district sales plans aligned with regional and company objectives.
  • Own district revenue, unit sales, product mix, customer growth, and market-development goals.
  • Build a high-performing sales organization through effective selection, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Partner with sales representatives on strategic accounts, customer opportunities, and complex commercial conversations.
  • Increase district revenue by developing new accounts, expanding existing relationships, and improving market penetration.
  • Use customer, sales, and market information to identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and adjust district priorities.
  • Support successful introductions of products, services, pricing strategies, and customer value propositions.
  • Provide guidance on bovine genetics, reproductive management, herd improvement, and producer-focused solutions, with support from technical and product partners.
  • Maintain accurate customer and territory information across employees and independent representatives.
  • Build productive relationships with customers, employees, independent representatives, and cross-functional partners.
  • Represent ABS Global in a professional manner consistent with company values, objectives, and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Experience owning revenue targets, territory performance, customer growth, or other measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong consultative-selling, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to translate business priorities into practical sales plans and team direction.
  • Effective communication, listening, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work successfully with customers and colleagues at multiple organizational levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
