This position will provide care and maintenance to the bull and mount population and will assist with the treatment of bulls as direct by our Veterinary staff. Additional responsibilities may include bull semen collections, bull movements, feedings, grooming and the upkeep and security of facilities and equipment. This role will aid in achieving current and forecasted production goals and will actively seek opportunities for improvement and professional development. The Livestock Handler will be expected to contribute both individually and as a team member—providing support to all team members and ensuring responsibilities are completed within production timelines.
While the structure of day schedules may change, currently this role must have the ability to work up to 40+ hours per week (8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday) and every 4th-5th weekend.
