Role Overview

The Genus ABS Marketing Communications team is growing in EMEA! Opportunities include:

We are looking for passionate marketers with the ability to communicate with the farming and agriculture industry.

 

Join us at Genus ABS as an EMEA Content Specialist and be the lead on all things content, you will be skilled at creating excellent content, as well as optimising and repurposing existing material for SEO to increase brand awareness and drive leads. 

 

You will be the owner of written and audio-visual content for the brand’s EMEA websites, social media channels, email campaigns, webinars and mobile applications (apps). 

 

You will be comfortable creating content for third-party platforms such as guest blogs and magazine articles.

 

Reporting directly to the EMEA Communication Manager, you will have the trust to work autonomously to ensure all content has a high production value and meets brand and tone standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and optimise content for all online and offline channels, including but not limited to: 
    • Social media posts 
    • Magazine articles 
    • Landing pages 
    • Blog posts 
    • Emails 
    • SMS Text & WhatsApp 
    • Point of Sale (POS) Brochures 
    • Presentations 
    • Videos 
    • Graphics 
  • Independently research and identify growth opportunities, including trends, competitor research, and audience building to craft high impact content
  • Analyse and report content marketing metrics and proactively drive improvements to increase engagement and conversions
  • Optimise all digital content for the Search Engine Result Pages (SERP)
  • Contribute to product launches and sales campaigns with engaging content to influence customers & prospects
  • Track all activity and, where possible utilise Hubspot marketing tools

Requirements

  • Marketing qualification
  • Work experience in a similar role
    • Driving engagement across social media, search engines, web platforms (WordPress), email platforms (Hubspot) and mobile applications (apps); 
    • Hands-on experience with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
    • Demonstrable communication standards across written and verbal content
    • Experience in using design tools to create owned content
    • Experience in marketing automation (Hubspot) 
    • Ability to use reporting tools effectively including Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEMrush or other similar platforms
    • Experience in creating and scheduling content 
  • Driving licence
  • Interest in agriculture

Job title: Content Specialist | Location: Nantwich, CW5 7JW | Hours: Full-time (8-hour shift) | Contract: Permanent | Schedule: Monday to Friday | Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 | Bonus scheme: Yearly | Availability: Immediate Start
