Are you looking for a role that will provide autonomy and variety? Genus ABS South Africa is recruiting a full-time permanent Marketing Operations Specialist to support the General Manager in Marketing, Administration, Stocks and Supply. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this opportunity will enable you to develop skills in a range of diverse business areas to enable to continuous growth of the Genus ABS brand.

Marketing:

• Prepare and deliver the annual marketing plan and budget.
• Coordinate the writing of technical articles about Genus ABS products and services
• Prepare and publish advertisements, presentations, newsletters and leaflets for internal and external promotions
• Maintain and manage the Genus ABS South Africa webpage and social media pages; analyse performance and engagement
• Identify and explore new and efficient ways to promote Genus ABS products and services through participation in shows and exhibitions
• Collaborate with the General Manager, Genetic Consultants and the EMEA Marketing team to implement the marketing strategy and promote genetic products and services
• Participate in meetings and gather information to support internal and external communications
• Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and publish quarterly internal updates
• Translate and update different marketing and product presentations as needed

Administration:

• Support the administrative team to 
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and agendas
  • Maintain data records
  • Organise diaries and calendars
• Arrange business travel, coordinate meeting arrangements, and/or track expenses

Stocks and Supply: 

• Check and manage goods' efficient and economical movement across the border following organisational policies and compliance with relevant local and international customs laws and processes
• Prepare, review, approve, and maintain files for import/export documents required for the lawful completion of import/export activities
• Control various types of inventories
• Manage physical stock count by sales team and reconciliation of stock
• Reconcile results with physical inventory counts & inventory records
• Ensure that the quantity of incoming and outgoing shipments is correct, conducts inventory levels analyses, and coordinate with production and sales requirements
• Ensure commercial and sales invoices are accurate

• Knowledge of the dairy and beef market, buying behaviour, and factors influencing customer perception
• Digital marketing skills and experience
• Proven experience of coordinating projects remotely
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to communicate with people at every level; English language at a professional
