Role Overview

The Technical Training Manager plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion and leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management.  This role ensures that project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost, and monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer the global training program.
  • Oversee the development of training content for new hires, new technology, and refresher training.
  • Oversees the train the trainer program.
  • Partners with engineering and commercialization teams to understand the training requirements of new technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Degree in engineering discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5-years’ experience in managerial capacity
  • 10-15% travel
  • CMRP, Lean Maintenance, or similar certification preferred
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance processes; predictive, preventative, and reliability
