Reproductive Team Leader - Kansas

Based in the Colorado/Kansas territory, our Reproductive Team Leader is accountable for provision of relief breeding services and coordination day to day activities of Reproductive Management activities and operational support of the assigned Reproductive Program Technician Team. To coordinate and develop the people within the assigned Reproductive Program Technician team deliver Reproductive Management Services and to support unit sales and blend price of dairy semen, beef semen and other products in the assigned area primarily through administration of established processes and systems.

This role is based in Kansas.

• Act as a coach and mentor to develop people within the assigned Reproductive Service team.
• Ensure adequate relief breeding services are available for the assigned Reproductive Service team.
• Support sales processes to increase revenues with assigned sales/service team by developing new accounts and maximizing Genus ABS’ opportunity for greater profitability and targeted market penetration.
• Effectively implement and ensure compliance with the policies, programs, and directives of all functions within Genus ABS.
• Develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with industry partners, peers, direct reports, management, employees, independent sales/service channels and customers. At all times represent Genus ABS in a manner consistent with company objectives and image.
• To ensure the image and service orientation of Genus ABS always remain professional. Strive to develop new skills and continuously improve the people within the team.
• To ensure a healthy and safe environment at work. All employees are required to observe both the company safety rule and the policies/guidelines.
• If issued a company vehicle, employees are expected to operate vehicles safely to prevent accidents. • High school degree or equivalent
• Must be located in Kansas
• Must be bilingual - Spanish and English
• Must be proficient in Ultrasound and AI
• Valid driver’s license
• Effective listening and communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Computer literate
• Understanding of genetics and reproductive management practices
• Ability to use her management software (DC-306, PC Dart, etc.)
• Ability to manage a geographically disperse customer base
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel
• Ability to identify opportunities
• Ability to establish and build business relationships
• Sales and marketing experience, preferably within agriculture is a plus
