Role Overview

PIC, Pig Improvement Company, Genus’ porcine division, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to provide key financial analysis, planning, and reporting support to a wide range of internal stakeholders. The role is an important member of the PIC LATAM team with direct interaction with every level of management. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), detail oriented, analytical, results driven, self-motivated, a curious learner, and able to manage multiple priorities, deliverables and deadlines.

 

The position can be located in our Hendersonville, TN office or our Queretaro, MX office. There is also a hybrid option with travel to both office sites as needed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Lead strategic planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly outlooks across the region in partnership with PIC Finance team. 
  • Provide Business Partnering, analytical guidance, and forecasting and budgeting coordination in support of the business unit.
  • Utilize project management skills to work with stakeholders on monthly, quarterly, annual, and adhoc projects.
  • Coordinate and partner with the commercial teams to ensure open communication and teamwork.
  • Enhance performance measurement and forecasting accuracy utilizing advanced tools such as MS Excel, PowerBI and IBM Planning Analytics.
  • Support global monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results and variance analyses.
  • Support commercial teams with ad-hoc business analyses needs
  • Conduct large data analysis and manipulation to ensure data quality is as high as possible
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, maintain professional verbal and written communications with co-workers, and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Uphold the Genus core values, mission and vision.
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours and 10-15% domestic and international travel.
  • Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or other applicable program.
  • 5 plus years of financial and data analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of post-graduate education and experience required.
  • 3-5 years of Corporate FP&A experience
  • Advanced PC modeling skills utilizing MS Excel
  • Experience and working knowledge using data cubes, business intelligence platforms, and ERP systems.
  • Experience analyzing sensitive information with extreme integrity.
  • Proven project management experience within a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated experience working with every level of management.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English required

 

  • Advanced degree preferred, not required.
