Role Overview

Genus PLC has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Business Analyst with specialized experience in Dynamics 365 ecosystems to join our D365 team. The position can be largely remote based in the UK with expectation to come into the Nantwich office as needed for up to a week at time. The Business Analyst has primary accountability for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business challenges, particularly in the realm of Sales & Marketing with significant opportunity to enhance data integration and optimize processes across the full ERP platform. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of D365 CE, with wider knowledge of Power Platform, Dynamics F&O, Azure DevOps, and Power Apps a distinct advantage. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency with our core technology stack: Dynamics 365 CE, Azure DevOps, and Power Apps, leveraging these tools to drive business process improvements and system integrations.
  • Take the lead on new business initiatives on Sales & Marketing practices
  • Support integrating data across Dynamics 365 platforms, mapping business processes and data through integrations such as Dual-write and Microsoft Data Integrator to ensure seamless data flow and integrity between CE and Finance and Operations.
  • Perform detailed business process mapping within the Dynamics 365 environment, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements, translating them into actionable project tasks within Azure DevOps.
  • Serve as a vital link between IT and business departments, ensuring clear communication of technical solutions to business challenges and aligning project outcomes with business goals.
  • Uphold the Genus core values, mission and vision.
  • Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of business analysis experience, with substantial work within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE, Business Analysis and requirements definition
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions within complex systems.
  • Proficient in Agile project management practices, with experience using Azure DevOps for sprint planning, tracking, and execution.
  • Authorized to work in the U.K. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications in Dynamics 365, Azure, business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA), or Agile methodologies.
  • Dual-write integration knowledge or certification would be a plus.
