Dynamics 365 CE Senior Developer

Genus PLC has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Senior and experienced Dynamics 365 Developer to be the driving force behind customizing and extending our Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform. The position will involve translating business requirements into successful, best practice technical solutions that optimize our organization's use of Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform.  

The Genus Enterprise Systems ecosystem includes heavily integrated processes and transactions across the Microsoft Dynamics ERP solution – including Customer Engagement, Finance & Operations and HR, as well as custom Portals (Power Pages) and canvas apps so a broad understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 offerings, Dataverse and Power Platform, with strong integration experience is required.  

This is a senior position, expected to provide leadership in designing solutions to business needs and guiding other team members in delivery, quality by design, solution management, defensive coding and quality assurance practices. 

This position is remote in India.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable solutions aligned with our objectives. Good understanding of solution options, benefits, drawbacks and decision-making processes are necessary to ensure an efficient and maintainable platform. 
• Document solution design, technical specifications, and codebase for knowledge transfer. 
• Optimize existing solutions to improve performance and usability. 
• Take the lead on integrating data across Dynamics 365 platforms, utilizing tools like Dual-write, logic apps and Data Integrator to ensure seamless data flow and integrity between D365 CE and Finance and Operations. 

• Write custom code (C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to extend Dynamics 365 CE functionality. 
• Develop custom plugins, workflow activities, and web resources to implement business logic and enhance capabilities. 
• Design and execute data migration strategies to move data from legacy systems to Dynamics 365 CE. 
• Develop data migration & update scripts to ensure data quality and integrity in system / functional changes 
• Understand change management principles to facilitate smooth transitions during the implementation of new systems or processes. 
• Conduct unit testing to validate customizations, extensions, and integrations. Understand best practices in technical assurance, code quality and solution management. 
• Be aware of security best practices and the ability to implement secure coding techniques to protect against common vulnerabilities. 
• Perform integration testing to verify interoperability between Dynamics 365 CE and other systems. 
• Stay updated on Dynamics 365 CE updates and best practices. 
• Support, guide and coach other members of the CE Delivery Team to deliver successful and sustainable / maintainable solutions by design. 
• Being adaptable to changing priorities, requirements, and project dynamics, and helping the team navigate changes effectively.

• Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned. 
• Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours. 

Basic Qualifications: (required)

• 8 + years of development experience, with substantial work within the Dynamics 365 CE platform.
• In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE and broad awareness of the wider Dynamics 365 ecosystem including Finance and Operations, Dual-write, Data Integrator, Azure DevOps, and Power Apps.
• Strong analytical / problem-solving skills with a proven track record of diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions within complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dual-write is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications in Dynamics 365 & Azure
