The position is located either in the USA or UK and office and hybrid work is an option. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR leaders, IT professionals, and business stakeholders to understand and prioritize product requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap, outlining the vision and goals for HR and employee experience initiatives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR software solutions, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to inform product enhancements and iterations, focusing on improving usability and user satisfaction.
  • Champion a user-centric approach to product development, leveraging design thinking principles to empathize with users, define problem statements, ideate solutions, and prototype features.
  • Drive the development of self-service tools and process automation capabilities to streamline HR processes, reduce administrative burdens, and empower employees to manage their own HR needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the HR technology landscape.
  • Drive effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and QA testers, to deliver high-quality, user-friendly products on schedule.
  • Monitor key metrics and analytics to evaluate product performance, measure impact, and identify areas for optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to HR and employee experience. Utilise this to inform and support the collaborative process with HR Leaders
  • Uphold the Genus core values, mission and vision.
  • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
  • Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications: (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee experience, HRIS, or HR technology.
• Proven track record of success in product ownership or product management, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features and strategies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, ATS systems, and other HR technology solutions.
• Experience with user-centric design principles and design thinking methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience developing self-service tools and process automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Passion for creating exceptional employee experiences and driving positive change within organizations.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. or UK (as appropriate) without sponsorship
