You will contribute to the business model by providing objective and independent internal control assessments and solutions for effective and sustainable business practices. You will also be responsible for facilitating Genus risk management process and maintaining a robust platform to operate this. You will begin the journey to improve the audit process and ways of working drivin by the global implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.

The Genus audit function is embarking on a journey to improve the audit and risk process, as part of the global implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, which will enable a different way of auditing, as well as professionalise our processes. You will be presented with opportunities to grow and develop within the audit and risk function or within the wider Genus organisation.
When you first join us you will initially join our project to implement a control framework that supports our compliance with the new corporate governance code before transitioning into internal audit. This will provide an excellent opportunity to get to know the business and make a significant contribution to an important project.
The Senior Audit will participate and perform process and control reviews that are designed to provide assurance over strategic, financial, operational and compliance risks of the Group, and protecting value for stakeholders. Audit reviews require communication and interaction with business leaders and teams across the Group and the Audit Manager will need to apply advanced skills and competencies and adapt procedures, techniques and tools to effectively deliver internal audit services throughout the organisation.
The Senior Audit will support the Group risk management process and help facilitate risk assessment workshops and maintain risk registers and other supporting documentation. Independent judgment and initiative is required to identify risks, evaluate issues, and help in developing workable mitigating solutions in line with business objectives and leading best practices.
